BLEACH characters voice Tanita timer and thermo-hygrometer

Ichigo, Rukia, Renji and Toshiro lend newly recorded voices to a Tanita timer, while a matching thermo-hygrometer joins the BLEACH collaboration.

The official Tanita BLEACH collaboration TD-436 voice timer

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War (BLEACH 千年血戦篇) is getting a pair of Tanita health gadgets with a distinctly character-driven twist: a voice timer and a digital thermo-hygrometer featuring the anime’s cast. Reservations opened through Tanita’s online shop on 23 October, with shipping planned from late January 2027. 1

The TD-436 BLEACH voice timer costs ¥4,950 and includes newly recorded lines from Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Renji Abarai and Toshiro Hitsugaya. Users can choose from five alarm messages, including encouragement before or after a study or work session. The timer also includes character “Bankai” voices that can be played at any time, plus a stereo earphone jack for quieter use. 1

Tanita has also added a preview alarm, designed to signal that only a little time remains before the countdown ends. That makes the product more than a simple themed timer: it is aimed at people who want a small nudge to keep working, studying or completing a routine without reaching for a phone. 1

The TT-CU BLEACH digital thermo-hygrometer costs ¥3,520 and comes in three designs. Each uses character artwork against a black base, while the compact unit measures room temperature and humidity. Tanita says the device can stand or hang, and positions it as useful for monitoring rooms, pets and houseplants. 1

The collaboration marks a second wave of Tanita’s BLEACH products, following earlier voice-enabled scales and character pedometers. The new timer and thermo-hygrometer are being made to order through Tanita’s online shop, with reservations scheduled to close at 3pm on 9 November. 1

The campaign is tied to the final cour of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, which began airing in July. AnimeAnime reports that the four featured characters’ lines were recorded specifically for the timer, giving the merchandise a little more personality than a logo slapped on an existing kitchen gadget. 2

Our opinion

This is a better fit for the BLEACH collaboration than another character print on a generic accessory. The timer uses the cast where it matters — the alarm and encouragement — while the thermo-hygrometer is a quieter, practical companion piece. The main limitation is timing: with delivery not expected until late January, fans will need to treat these as made-to-order collectibles rather than an instant way to bring Ichigo and company into a daily routine.
