The campaign’s 500,000-registration target awards three-star versions of Ichigo and Rukia, alongside 15,000 Mirror Gems, according to Anime Corner’s report. The official announcement points players to the game’s global X and Facebook accounts for further reward updates, so the published milestone is not necessarily the final haul.

The new video is titled “Byakuya / Toshiro / Mayuri Ver.” and gives a short look at combat while spotlighting original protagonists Shirin Migishima and Shirane Sanari.¹ Tite Kubo created their original character designs and is credited with production cooperation, character concept and character design.¹ The official site describes the game as an original story set after the Thousand-Year Blood War, with three-character teams, attack-card choices, animated Mortal Blows and coordinated “Soul Drive” attacks.³

Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. is the named developer on both the US App Store and Google Play listings, while no separate external development studio is identified in the official materials checked.⁴⁵ The confirmed platforms are iPhone/iPad via the App Store and Android via Google Play; the official site lists both, notes that some devices are unsupported, and describes the game as free to download with in-game purchases and loot boxes.³ The English-language site, “global” social accounts and “WW” pre-registration link indicate a worldwide campaign, but Bandai Namco has not published a territory-by-territory launch schedule.

The release timing needs one small asterisk. Anime Corner and Bandai Namco’s official site say 2026, while the US App Store listing currently gives an expected date of Nov. 28, 2026.¹²⁴ That store date is marked as expected, not a firm global launch confirmation, so treat it as a useful signal rather than a promise carved into a Zanpakuto.

Our opinion

This is a smart reward hook, and a post-war original story led by a custom Soul Reaper is more interesting than another retread of Ichigo’s greatest hits. Still, the loot-box model deserves scrutiny, and the lack of a locked global date means eager fans should pre-register but keep expectations sheathed until Bandai Namco confirms launch details.³⁴
