Dragon Ball anniversary book collects 500 seals and adds exclusive Goku designs
Shueisha's 112-page Dragon Ball anniversary book collects more than 500 seals and includes two exclusive Goku designs.
The Dragon Ball Super Warrior Seal Wafer 10th Anniversary Book (ドラゴンボール 超戦士シールウエハース 10th アニバーサリーブック) is now on sale in Japan, bringing a decade of collectible seal history into one large-format book. Shueisha lists the release date as 19 October and the price as ¥1,980, including tax. 1
The B5 book runs to 112 pages and reproduces the front and back of more than 500 seals from the first 17 instalments of the Dragon Ball Super Warrior Seal Wafer range. The collection covers seals released between May 2021 and October 2026, giving fans a chronological look at how the line has developed. 1
What is included
The anniversary book also includes two exclusive bonus seals. One is a colour-variant version of the 10th Rare Goku seal, while the other brings together Goku in his different forms in a special group illustration. Shueisha's product description also highlights a feature interview with members of the teams who worked on the series' planning and development. 1
Anime! Anime! reports that the book went on sale on 19 October and describes the two enclosed seals as a parallel-style 10th Rare Goku design and a group illustration featuring Goku's various forms. 2 The report identifies Shueisha's product page as the place to check the official details, rather than suggesting that the book is a new anime release or a new trading-card set.
For international fans, the main appeal is likely to be the reference material: the book gathers a substantial run of seal designs in one place, while the two exclusive inserts give collectors a reason to seek out this particular edition. The Japanese release and yen price also mean that availability outside Japan will depend on specialist retailers or import listings.
Our opinion
This is a focused anniversary release rather than a major Dragon Ball announcement, but it understands its audience. Reproducing both sides of more than 500 seals gives the book a useful archival purpose, and the exclusive Goku inserts add a collectible hook without obscuring what the book is: a visual record of the seal range's first decade. For collectors already following the wafer series, that combination makes the release more interesting than a simple catalogue reprint.
