Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent confirms April 2027
The anime of Naruki's Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent will air in April 2027 on ABC TV and TV Asahi's ANiMAZiNG!!! slot, and its first teaser has revealed the two leads' voices.

The television anime of Naruki's Glasses With a Chance of Delinquent will broadcast in the April 2027 cour, and its first teaser has revealed which actors are voicing the two leads.
Who is voicing whom
Hiroto Shimizu voices Dan Ichikura, the bespectacled model student whose junior-high career as a feared delinquent refuses to stay buried. Suzuko Hara plays Hiro Momose, the accident-prone girl who ends up dragged into his world. Yuma Tomochika plays Ohana-chan, the small mascot creature who narrates the teaser.
Where it airs
The production has confirmed the April 2027 cour for ABC TV and TV Asahi's nationwide ANiMAZiNG!!! block. The series will also stream on ABEMA and air on BS11, although the streaming start date has not been announced.
What the teaser shows
The teaser PV puts both lead performances on screen for the first time, opening on Momose joining the Otasuke Club that Ichikura runs before the “reformed” delinquent lets his other side slip — the whiplash the manga is built around. It follows August's announcement that the series was being adapted at all.
Who is making it
Makoto Hoshino directs at Studio Flad and Wao World, with Megumi Shimizu handling series composition and Ruriko Watanabe on character design. Naruki's manga runs in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend, and Seven Seas Entertainment publishes it in English.
Our opinion
An April slot on a national network, plus ABEMA and BS11, is a bigger commitment than most shojo adaptations receive, and it reads as a merchandising play rather than a streaming curio. The choice of a mascot creature as the teaser's narrator is the tell: the campaign is selling charm, not the delinquent-reformation hook the title leans on.
That is the gamble. The manga works because Dan keeps flickering between harmless and genuinely alarming, and a series that smooths that gap into a standard school romance will spend the title's promise without cashing it. Keep the comedy of the switch — and let Momose stay exasperated rather than adoring — and the spring cour has room for a title that is more than the sum of its glasses. Sand the edges off and the “sometimes” in the name becomes a warning label.
