The new Obungu Together Ichiban Kuji range launches in Japan on 31 October, led by a talking plush and a 50cm final prize cushion.

Obungu Together (お文具といっしょ) is getting a new Ichiban Kuji lottery line-up in Japan, with the “Tiny Baby” range arriving in shops from 31 October. The official BANDAI SPIRITS listing confirms a 700-yen price per draw and names FamilyMart, Obungu Store, official Ichiban Kuji shops and Ichiban Kuji Online among the retailers. 1

The range turns Obungu and the rest of the cast into tiny, baby-costumed versions of themselves. The lead A prize is a roughly 30cm talking Obungu plush: pressing its stomach plays five lines, including “Thank you for your hard work” and “That tickles a little.” 1

The prize line-up

The B prize is a quilted tote bag decorated with the characters in bee and ladybird costumes, while the C prize offers three small plush mascots. The remaining line-up includes a soup bowl, storage containers, acrylic clips and charms, towels, handle covers, drawstring bags and compact mirrors. The final prize is a roughly 50cm Obungu cushion. 1

Anime! Anime! reports that the draw costs 700 yen and that the online sale begins on 24 November at 5pm, with the campaign running through the end of January 2027. The publication also says the series follows Obungu, Purin, Namonaki Mono, Neko, Jelly and Koneko in their everyday lives. 2

Our opinion

This is a particularly strong bit of character merchandising because the range understands what makes Obungu Together work: small, comforting objects rather than one oversized collector centrepiece. The talking plush is the obvious star, but the tote and everyday accessories give the lottery a broader appeal. The important practical detail is the timing: the physical release is 31 October, while the online sale follows in late November, so fans should not treat the two launch dates as interchangeable.

The draw is scheduled for 31 October in Japan, with a price of 700 yen per ticket. Availability can vary by shop and stock is limited, so check the official Ichiban Kuji listing before travelling. 1
