STEEL BALL RUN: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure 2nd STAGE gets new preview images ahead of Netflix return
New official preview images send Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli into the Devil’s Palm ahead of the 2nd and 3rd STAGE’s 25 September Netflix premiere.

STEEL BALL RUN: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure has released new preview images for its 2nd STAGE, ahead of the next instalment’s Netflix premiere on 25 September 2026.
The images put Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli into a roughly 750-mile desert crossing, with the feared Devil’s Palm and a series of unsettling incidents waiting along the route.
What's actually going on
The official anime site confirms that the 2nd and 3rd STAGE will stream on Netflix from 25 September, with weekly episodes and 11 episodes in total. Timing and catalogue availability may vary by territory.
Mountain Tim, Funny Valentine and Hot Pants join this stage, voiced by Tomoaki Maeno, Tomokazu Sugita and Yoko Hikasa. Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi direct, Yasuko Kobayashi handles series structure, Yugo Kanno composes and david production animates.
Why you should care
The first stage established the bizarre western race and the uneasy alliance between Johnny and Gyro. This next stretch appears ready to make the competition more dangerous, with hostile terrain and supernatural threats closing in together.
Our opinion
The Devil’s Palm is exactly the sort of gloriously strange detour that makes STEEL BALL RUN special. Mark 25 September if Netflix carries it in your territory, and avoid the preview images if you want to meet the next stage cold.
