Beauty and the Beast 35th anniversary collection brings Disney Store gifts
Disney Store’s Japanese 35th anniversary collection turns Beauty and the Beast’s storybook, rose and enchanted-castle imagery into new goods.
Disney is marking the 35th anniversary of Beauty and the Beast with a new collection of homeware, accessories and character goods arriving through Disney Store in Japan.
The collection is built around newly illustrated watercolour-style artwork inspired by the storybook that helps bring Belle and the Beast closer in the 1991 animated film. Disney’s official campaign page shows the range alongside a framed puzzle, Lumiere and Cogsworth figures, a rose-themed display and other pieces that turn the film’s visual language into anniversary merchandise.
The line-up includes plush keychains, cushions, blankets, a jigsaw puzzle, tote bags, bag charms, pouches, cookies, figures and a Lumiere-inspired LED light. The official Disney Store page lists 22 products across the campaign, with Belle, the Beast, Mrs Potts, Cogsworth, Lumiere and Gaston represented across the wider range.
Disney Store’s flagship Tokyo and Tokyo Disney Resort shops, along with the official online store, are due to receive the collection from 27 October 2026. General Disney Store availability follows on 30 October. The campaign notes that stock, designs, prices and participating shops may change, and some items may sell out.
The collection arrives as the animated film approaches its 35th anniversary, giving Disney a chance to revisit one of its most recognisable visual worlds without presenting this as a new film release. For fans, the appeal is the specificity of the campaign: rather than another generic logo drop, the range leans into the story’s book, rose and enchanted-castle imagery.
Our opinion
This is a neatly targeted anniversary collection because the artwork does more than put Belle and the Beast on another set of products. The framed puzzle and character-led pieces make the campaign feel like a displayable celebration of the film, while the broad mix of home, fashion and novelty items gives it more reach than a single collector release. The caveat is familiar with Disney Store launches: the best-looking pieces may be the first to disappear, so the published dates matter more than any promise of long-term availability.
