Chiikawa Shisa lottery turns manga scenes into plush prizes
A 12-prize Chiikawa lottery puts Shisa at the centre of a plush collection inspired by manga scenes, outfits and ramen.
Chiikawa (ちいかわ) is turning one of its most recognisable characters into the star of a new online lottery, with plush prizes that recreate Shisa’s manga scenes, outfits and everyday snacks. The official lottery listing and announcement video confirm the sale window, price and prize format. 12
Shisa gets a full prize line-up
The 12-prize collection is led by a roughly 50-centimetre Shisa plush holding chopsticks and a rice bowl. Another large plush puts the character in the gold armour associated with her mentor, while two face cushions and two plush pouches broaden the line-up. One pouch is shaped like a ramen bowl, giving the collection a particularly on-brand bit of food-based charm. 12
The remaining prizes are six smaller mascots based on different Shisa moments and outfits from the original manga. It is a more focused collection than a general Chiikawa lottery: every prize is built around the same character, so the appeal is less about chasing a random cast member and more about assembling a tiny Shisa shelf. 1
When the Chiikawa Shisa lottery opens
The online lottery starts at 11 a.m. JST on October 28 and runs until 11:59 p.m. JST on November 3 through Chiikawa Market’s official lottery store. Each entry costs ¥1,100, with delivery scheduled from late March 2027. Buyers who take 10 entries in one order also receive a reusable Shisa dress-up sticker sheet, although shipping is calculated separately when delivery is requested. 1
That timing makes this a proper advance notice rather than a launch-day stock alert. Fans outside Japan should check the store’s delivery terms before planning a purchase, because the listing does not turn the lottery into a broadly available international release. 1
The official announcement video shows the plush range and gives readers a useful look at the visual theme without relying on a retailer photograph. It is published by the official Chiikawa channel, so it also provides the cleanest first-party view of the collection currently available. 2
Our opinion
A single-character lottery is a smart fit for Chiikawa: the collection has a clear identity, and the ramen, armour and scene-based designs give it more personality than a shelf of near-identical mascot plushes. The ¥1,100 entry price will still add up quickly, but the 50-centimetre Shisa is a much more memorable centrepiece than another generic keychain.
