Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 has received two official albums following its Netflix debut: a 39-track original score by Tsuneo Imahori and an eight-song soundtrack featuring new music from artists including Rico Nasty, Corbin, DOUDOU and BIJI.12

The albums are now available on major music streaming services through Milan Records, giving the new anime a musical release to match its arrival on Netflix on 20 October.1 The release is separate from the anime itself: one album collects Imahori’s instrumental score, while the other brings together songs created specifically for the series.1

Two albums, two different jobs

The first release, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (Original Series Score), contains 39 tracks composed by Tsuneo Imahori. The second, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 (Original Series Soundtrack), contains eight original songs. Its tracklist includes “You Can’t Run From Me” by Rico Nasty, “A Rusty Dream” by DOUDOU, “Worth It” by Corbin and “Boya” by BIJI, alongside contributions from Petite Meller, Piernikowski, Kalman Chodakiewitz, Eli Shiffman and Oslo Green.1

The soundtrack’s eight songs are “Watson” featuring Oslo Green by Petite Meller; “You Can’t Run From Me” by Rico Nasty; “Boya” by BIJI; “High Forever” by Petite Meller; “Da Mi Jeszce Jedna Szanse” by Piernikowski; “In Love With Myself” by Kalman Chodakiewitz, Eli Shiffman and Petite Meller; “A Rusty Dream” by DOUDOU; and “Worth It” by Corbin.1

The anime behind the music

The second season is a new, standalone 10-episode story set in Night City, created by CD PROJEKT RED and TRIGGER. The official site describes a cast led by Weak, a former edgerunner living without chrome, and D, a nomad pursuing revenge after his clan is wiped out.2 Kai Ikarashi directs, with Kanno Ichigo as lead character designer. Bartosz Sztybor and Masahiko Otsuka are among the returning creative leads.2

The official trailer introduces the new cast and confirms the anime’s Netflix release, with the video published on the official Cyberpunk YouTube channel.3 That makes the album launch part of a wider release push rather than a standalone music announcement: the show, its official visual campaign and its soundtrack have all arrived in the same week.

Our opinion

This is a useful companion release because the two-album split makes the music easier to understand. The score belongs to the show’s dramatic machinery, while the song collection is the more immediately discoverable entry point for listeners who want a playlist rather than an instrumental album. The distinction also gives fans a clearer reason to explore both releases instead of treating the soundtrack as one large, anonymous track dump. The official launch is timely, clearly sourced and relevant to viewers who have just started the new season, although the story is about availability and tracklists rather than a review of the music itself.

Both albums are available now through the official streaming link, while Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is streaming exclusively on Netflix.12
