Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! has released a new ending animation featuring “Pit”, the ending theme performed by NANAWOAKARI. The update was reported by AnimeTV JP, which also credits AoiSora with storyboarding and directing the sequence, alongside colour-script work with Masaaki Tanaka.

The ending was commissioned by character designer Ryo Imamura, who also serves as chief animation director. The series is directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa, written by Masahiro Yokotani and animated by Passione. OceanVeil streams the anime.

The new sequence gives viewers another piece of the show’s visual identity while putting its ending song front and centre. AnimeTV JP’s report also identifies Even the Student Council Has Its Holes! as an adaptation of the manga published by Kodansha. The manga began serialization in 2022 and follows Mizunoe Ume after he joins an unusually eccentric student council.

Our opinion

This is a useful update for fans because an ending sequence is more than a routine credit roll: it is a compact showcase for the staff, song and tone that a series wants viewers to remember. The reported credits make this a clear production update rather than a vague promotional claim, while the official trailer gives readers a direct way to place the new animation in the wider series.

The ending’s reported creative team also makes the announcement worth separating from a generic episode recap. It adds a named piece of animation and a named song to the show’s production record, giving viewers something specific to look for when they watch the series.
