Frieren crosses into LINE Pokopoko for October
The TV anime's characters have landed in LINE's three-match puzzle game for a collaboration that runs until 30 October, with a guaranteed login companion.

The TV anime Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is crossing over with the three-match puzzle game LINE Pokopoko, in a collaboration that began on 1 October.
Who shows up
Frieren, Fern, Stark, Himmel and Methode all appear across the collaboration's events and gacha. Logging in during the period guarantees a collaboration-limited companion, Frieren (subtle face), and a campaign on the game's official X account awards points for set missions that can be traded in for further companions and in-game items.
How long it runs
The collaboration runs from 11:00 JST on 1 October until 10:59 JST on 30 October 2026. LINE Pokopoko is a free download on the App Store and Google Play. The anime adapts the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, published by Shogakukan.
Our opinion
Almost nothing about Frieren is loud, which makes it an awkward franchise to bolt onto a puzzle game and, on reflection, a rather good one. The show's grip is tonal rather than plot-driven, so a picture of Frieren wearing a mildly put-upon expression travels further than any boss fight could, and a three-match game is a low-effort way to keep the characters in front of people between seasons. It is also the least revealing kind of announcement a series can make: a collaboration is a licensing arrangement, not new animation, and it will be forgotten the moment the next visual or season teaser lands. Enjoy the wallpaper; it is not a signal about what comes next.
