Gundam Narabundesu Zaku 2 figures open for pre-orders in Japan
Bandai Namco’s five-figure Zaku collection opens reservations in Japan on 16 October, with deliveries planned for February 2027.
Bandai Namco’s official online shop has opened reservations in Japan for Gundam Narabundesu Zaku 2, the second Zaku-focused entry in its small display-figure series. The set contains five figures and reservation sales begin at 11am on 16 October, with deliveries planned for late February 2027. 1
Five Zaku figures in the set
The collection includes Char’s Zaku II, a standard Zaku II and three high-mobility Zaku II variants labelled A, B and C. Each figure is made from coloured PVC and measures approximately 5 centimetres, according to the official product listing. 1
The figures are designed for collecting and arranging, which is the point of the Narabundesu line: each small character can sit alongside the others as a compact display. The product image shows the five Zaku designs together, with the familiar red Char’s machine positioned among green and dark-coloured variants. 1
The set is priced at 400 yen per draw, including tax. Reservations run from 16 October at 11am until 15 November at 11:59pm, or until the prepared stock is exhausted. The official listing warns that the figures may also appear in capsule vending machines across Japan before the online orders ship. 1
Release details
The February 2027 delivery window applies to the online reservation listing, which is marked as a pre-order item rather than an immediate shipment. Bandai Namco says the product is intended for customers aged 15 and over, and notes that the displayed prototypes may differ slightly from the final figures. 1
The news was first reported by Anime! Anime!, which identifies the five-figure line-up and the reservation schedule. Its report also points readers to the Bandai Namco product page for the full specifications and ordering information. 2
This is the second Zaku-themed Narabundesu release, and the line-up leans into variety rather than repeating a single colour scheme. Char’s red Zaku provides the obvious centrepiece, while the three high-mobility versions give collectors a way to build a more varied row of mobile suits.
Our opinion
Narabundesu works best when the subject has a strong silhouette, and Zaku is an obvious fit. Five compact variants make this a more appealing display than a single blind-box character, although the 400-yen draw format still means collectors cannot simply choose their favourite figure. The official product image also makes the set’s visual variety clear, which is doing a lot of the selling here.
