KOMODO has announced that Hatsune Miku Connecting Puzzle TAMAGOTORI Deluxe will launch for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on October 29, 2026. The deluxe release bundles the original puzzle game with two previously released premium DLC packs, giving the PlayStation versions a single package rather than a separate base-game purchase.1

The game is developed by Crypton Future Media, the company behind the Hatsune Miku voice-synthesis software and character. KOMODO lists the price at US$14.99, with English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese support. Steam currently labels the release as coming on October 28, which is likely a regional timing difference against KOMODO's October 29 announcement; the publisher's date is the clearest reference for the wider launch.12

What the deluxe edition includes

The core game is a pattern-matching puzzle experience. Players connect eggs by drawing a line between matching patterns, provided the line makes no more than two turns. Clearing a board reveals panels of a special illustration, while berries collected during puzzles attract birds to the game's Bird's Square and expand an in-game gallery.12

The package also includes five original songs written for Hatsune Miku Connecting Puzzle TAMAGOTORI. Those tracks were selected through a Piapro public-submission contest, giving the deluxe edition a music component tied directly to Hatsune Miku's fan-creation culture rather than simply adding another licensed playlist.12

The PlayStation and Steam release follows the original game's Nintendo Switch launch in 2022. KOMODO says the deluxe edition is available to wishlist on Steam ahead of release, while the Steam listing identifies Crypton Future Media as the developer and KOMODO as publisher.12

Our opinion

This is a straightforward but sensible expansion of a compact puzzle game: the appeal is easy to understand, and bundling the two premium DLC packs means new players do not have to work out which version contains the complete package. The interesting detail is the way the game combines simple matching puzzles with collectible illustrations, birds and fan-selected music. It is not a major new Hatsune Miku project, but it gives PlayStation players and Steam users a neat entry point on October 29 rather than leaving the game tied to its original Switch release.12

For readers who want to try it, the important caveat is the date discrepancy: KOMODO's own announcement says October 29, while Steam displays October 28 in its store metadata. That can happen when a global launch is shown against different regional time zones, so players should check their local storefront rather than assume the earlier date applies everywhere.
