Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 update confirmed for Jump Festa 2027
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 will get its next official update at Jump Festa 2027, with four cast members confirmed for the anime’s stage.
Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦) Season 4 will get its next major update at Jump Festa 2027, where the anime’s official stage has confirmed a cast lineup and promised the latest information on the second half of The Culling Game arc.12
The stage is scheduled for Saturday, December 19, 2026, from 3:25pm to 3:55pm JST at Makuhari Messe. Junya Enoki (Yuji Itadori), Mikako Komatsu (Maki Zenin), Kazuya Nakai (Kinji Hakari) and Daisuke Namikawa (Choso) are listed to appear.1
According to the official Jujutsu Kaisen anime site, the programme will look back at Season 3, The Culling Game Part 1, before moving on to the latest news about Season 4. The site warns that the stage may discuss material not yet covered by the anime, so viewers avoiding manga spoilers should take care.
The production team is also inviting fans to submit questions for Yuji, Maki, Hakari and Choso. Submissions are open until November 1 at 11:59pm JST, with selected questions due to be answered by the characters during the event.1
Jump Festa 2027 runs on December 19 and 20, with details about watching the stage to be announced through the official event site.2 MAPPA has not yet announced a Season 4 release window, so this is a confirmed opportunity for news rather than confirmation of a premiere date.
What we know about Season 4
Season 4 is expected to continue the anime’s adaptation of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga through the latter portion of the Culling Game storyline. Previous updates have not supplied a release window, making a trailer, key visual or date announcement possible—but still unconfirmed—outcomes for the Jump Festa stage.
Our opinion
The stage announcement is meaningful because it sets a firm date for the next official update without pretending a premiere has already been booked. The cast choices also point towards the Culling Game material the production wants to discuss, but fans should treat any trailer or release-date speculation as speculation until the official stage says otherwise.
