Bandai’s miffy carabiner mascot collection arrives in October
Bandai’s five-piece miffy carabiner mascot collection arrives in Gashapon machines in October, with fluffy flocked designs priced at ¥500 each.
Bandai’s new miffy Colorful Carabiner Mascot collection will arrive in Gashapon machines in the fourth week of October, offering five fluffy flocked designs for ¥500 per capsule.
What we know
The official Gashapon product page lists five designs: miffy, boris, dan, ghost and miffy crown. Each mascot measures about 5.5cm and comes with a colour-matched carabiner for attaching to a bag or other belongings.1
The collection is scheduled for the fourth week of October 2026, although Bandai notes that release timing can vary by region and shop. The official listing also says that multiple shipments are planned after the initial release.1
Anime! Anime! reports the same five-character lineup and price, with the source describing the mascots as having a soft flocked finish.2 The product is aimed at customers aged 15 and over, according to the official product information.1
The lineup
The standard miffy design wears a blue outfit, while boris appears in orange. dan is dressed in green, ghost is presented as a white figure clipped to a bag, and miffy crown wears a yellow outfit with a crown. The official promotional image shows the set’s different carabiner colours and the compact scale of the mascots.
Our opinion
This is a neatly focused bit of miffy merchandise rather than a huge collector push: five recognisable designs, useful clips and a low capsule price give it an obvious everyday appeal. The regional timing caveat matters, though, so collectors should check the official Gashapon listing or local machines rather than assume every shop will stock it in the same week.
