Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 Part 2 PV reveals five cast members
The new promotional video confirms five Gold Rank cast members ahead of the second part’s 11 October premiere.
Mission: Yozakura Family has revealed a new promotional video for the second part of its second season, introducing five cast members for the Gold Rank characters waiting beyond the family’s current mission.
What the video reveals
The five new cast members are Hōchū Ōtsuka as Alexandryu, Miku Itō as Shura, Yumiri Hanamori as Cyber Demon Lord Giga, Sumire Uesaka as Dr. Mozu and Naomi Shindoh as Hulang. A further character, Kosmos Akizakura, was also revealed, although no voice actor has been announced for the role yet.
Season 2 Part 2 begins on 11 October at 5:00 p.m. JST on MBS, TBS and 26 affiliated channels. Humbreaders performs the opening theme “Forever Song”, while dance and vocal group KID PHENOMENON handles the ending theme “I’m Still Breathing”.
Mirai Minato continues as chief director at SILVER LINK, with Takahiro Nakatsugawa directing. Character designer Mizuki Takahashi, composer Kōji Fujimoto and sound director Tōru Kanegae all return from earlier seasons. The second season premiered on 12 April, and Hulu carries the series in the United States.
Hitsuji Gondaira’s original manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from August 2019 until January 2025, closing with its 29th and final compiled volume in March 2025. Viz Media publishes the manga in English.

Dropping five Gold Rank reveals in a single video reads as a deliberate statement about the shape of Part 2: the new cour is planning ensemble chaos rather than a slow build towards one rival. That suits Mission: Yozakura Family, because the series has always been at its best when its spy absurdity collides with genuine family warmth, and a thicker roster of threats gives Taiyou and Mutsumi more reasons to fight like an actual household. The encouraging detail is the cast itself — Ōtsuka, Hanamori and Uesaka are the kind of voices that can make even a one-joke antagonist memorable. The risk is the opposite: too many new faces crowding out the Yozakura siblings who make the show tick.
