Nintama Rantaro heads to two hot-spring towns
HIS is taking Nintama Rantaro to Atami and Noboribetsu with stamp rallies, themed food, character displays and limited travel bonuses.
Nintama Rantaro is heading to two Japanese hot-spring towns this winter, with HIS selling themed tours and accommodation packages for a collaboration in Atami and Noboribetsu. The official HIS campaign page confirms that the project begins in November and includes limited bonuses for travellers.12
What the collaboration includes
The campaign turns both resort areas into a Nintama Rantaro sightseeing trail. Visitors can take part in a GPS-linked digital stamp rally, collect a limited digital photo frame and stickers, and find collaboration food and original packaged products around the towns.1
Participating facilities, shopping streets and tourist spots will also carry life-size character panels, banners and flags. Food purchases come with one of 14 random limited cards, while the tour package includes a pouch, a hakudo-seki coaster, a postcard set and a pen. The accommodation plan includes the coaster, postcard set and pen.12
Dates and locations
The Atami event runs from 13 November 2026 to 28 March 2027. The Noboribetsu event follows from 20 November 2026 to 28 March 2027. HIS says the special products are scheduled to remain on sale until 20 March 2027, although individual plans and goods may sell out earlier.1
The collaboration is tied to HIS's themed travel packages, rather than being a convention or a new animation project. That distinction matters: the main attraction is exploring each hot-spring town while collecting location-based bonuses and character merchandise.12
Our opinion
This is a smart fit for Nintama Rantaro, a series with a long history and a broad family audience. The stamp rally gives visitors a reason to move beyond one hotel or shop, while the character displays and food bonuses make the collaboration visible even for people who are not booking the full tour. Travellers should check the official HIS page for availability and package terms before making plans, as dates and inclusions can change.
