One-Room TA will stream on OceanVeil from November 13
OceanVeil’s first Korean animation acquisition is Laftel’s One-Room TA, with the uncensored series arriving weekly from November 13.
OceanVeil will begin streaming the Korean-animated boys-love series One-Room TA on November 13 at 10 a.m. Pacific time, or 1 p.m. Eastern time, according to Anime News Network’s report on the platform’s announcement.1 The release will mark OceanVeil’s first Korean animation acquisition as the service expands beyond Japanese anime.1
Produced by Laftel, the series adapts creator Jibung’s webtoon of the same name. It follows university student U-yun Song, who confesses to graduate teaching assistant Jin-hyeong Woo and unexpectedly begins living with him in a one-room apartment. The relationship develops alongside Jin-hyeong’s eccentric enthusiasm for boys-love novels and romance tropes.1
The cast includes Beom-sik Shin as U-yun Song, Seong-woo Kang as Jin-hyeong Woo and Eui-jin Jung as Eun-oh Ji. OceanVeil plans to stream the uncensored version, with weekly episodes scheduled through December 25. The series originally premiered in South Korea on Laftel on August 28, 2026.1

Our opinion
OceanVeil’s announcement matters beyond one catalogue addition: it gives a Korean animated production a prominent streaming slot while making the platform’s expansion beyond Japanese anime explicit. The weekly schedule and uncensored release should also make this a straightforward option for viewers who want to follow the adaptation as it rolls out, rather than waiting for a complete season.
