Stamp Rallies arrive in Sendai and Mexico City before the global Wild Area weekend brings Dynamax Dialga, Palkia and Gigantamax Duraludon.

Pokémon GO’s Wild Area events are adding a stamp-collecting activity in Sendai and Mexico City, while the global weekend will bring Dynamax Dialga, Dynamax Palkia and the Pokémon GO debut of Gigantamax Duraludon. The details give players a clearer idea of what to expect from November’s three-part event programme. 12

Stamp Rallies come to Sendai and Mexico City

The Stamp Rallies will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time on each ticket holder’s main event day. Players attending the Sendai, Tohoku event will collect stamps from PokéStops in Sendai City, rather than across the whole Miyagi Prefecture event area. The Extra Day gameplay add-on does not provide a second rally. 1

The in-person events take place from November 6 to 8, 2026, in Sendai and Mexico City. Tickets for both city events are already sold out, according to the report. Attendees can also encounter Hisuian Sliggoo and Hisuian Goodra, the regional forms first introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. 1

Global event brings Dynamax legends

The global Wild Area weekend follows on November 14 and 15. Dynamax Dialga will appear on the Saturday, followed by Dynamax Palkia on the Sunday, giving players two Sinnoh legends to tackle in Max Battles. Gigantamax Duraludon is the headline debut, appearing in six-star Max Battles. 12

The event also brings back Reshiram, Zekrom and Kyurem, alongside Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. Players can use Fusion Energy to combine Kyurem with Reshiram or Zekrom, while the move Glaciate will feature during the event. Machamp wearing a modern jacket will appear in three-star raids, and ticket holders can encounter Mighty Latias and Latios using GO Safari Balls. 1

The global ticket costs $11.99 and includes bonuses such as double Candy, six Raid Passes and cheaper trades. Steel and Dragon-themed hours and special backgrounds are also planned, while Daily Discoveries will pause from November 9 to 15. 1

Our opinion

The Wild Area format is becoming a useful bridge between Pokémon GO’s live events and its wider series history. The city rallies give in-person attendees something tangible to do between raids, while the global weekend keeps the biggest battles accessible to players who cannot travel. Duraludon’s debut is the obvious draw, but the return of the Unova dragons and the unusual Mighty encounters should give the event enough variety to avoid feeling like a single-Pokémon showcase. The main caveat is that the most location-specific extras remain tied to tickets and event days, so players should check their booking details before travelling. 12
