The Quintessential Quintuplets wedding kuji opens in Japan
Kadokawa's Kujibikido lottery uses newly drawn art of the five Nakano sisters, with five prize tiers and a weekly bonus draw through to November.

What is on offer
Kadokawa has opened a wedding-themed online lottery for the TV special anime The Quintessential Quintuplets on its Kujibikido service. The Mellow Wedding kuji went on sale at 17:00 JST on 30 September and runs until 16:59 JST on 4 November, at 770 yen per draw.
The prizes use newly drawn artwork of the five Nakano sisters at a wedding ring exchange, and the service runs without blanks, so every draw returns one item.
The prize tiers
Five tiers are on offer, each with five variants: character fine graphs in the S tier, big acrylic stand figures in A, shaker acrylic dioramas in B, acrylic stand plates in C and tin badges in D. Buyers of ten-draw sets also receive a mini bromide, and a weekly bonus challenge gives one winner per week a bust-up acrylic board at stated odds of five per cent.
The bonus weeks follow the sisters in order: Ichika from 30 September to 7 October, Nino to 14 October, Miku to 21 October, Yotsuba to 28 October and Itsuki through to the 4 November close. A repost campaign on X runs alongside it, with three winners taking a full five-figure set.
Our opinion
A wedding-themed lottery is the most commercially honest thing this franchise has done in years, because the story always pointed at five brides and the merchandise has spent a decade selling the question instead of the answer. The tiers also tell you who Kadokawa expects to buy: the cheapest draws return badges and flat plates while the expensive chase items are stands and dioramas, which is a pricing structure aimed at collectors completing sets rather than casual fans. At 770 yen a pull it is a predictable, well-made product; the only novelty is that the artwork finally commits to the aisle.
