FamilyMart is bringing Snoopy and the wider PEANUTS cast back to its Japanese stores for a third consecutive autumn collaboration, with limited food, drinks, merchandise and a campaign tied to Dog Day.

The “Snoopy and FamilyMart’s Autumn” campaign starts on 20 October 2026 across approximately 16,500 FamilyMart locations in Japan. The retailer says the collaboration includes 15 limited-edition products, alongside store giveaways, app-based prize draws and additional goods sold through selected shops and FamilyMart Online.1

The food line-up includes a Snoopy chocolate cake doughnut, maple baumkuchen, a Snoopy mug paired with peach jelly, and character-themed wagashi featuring Snoopy, Woodstock and Charlie Brown. Snoopy-labelled rooibos and unsweetened Earl Grey tea will also be sold as limited packaging, while a Snoopy Manhattan clam chowder cup noodle is scheduled for 27 October.1

Customers can collect original goods by buying qualifying products in pairs. The first giveaway, starting at 10am on 20 October while stocks last, is a set of five flat pouches. A second wave of four small plates begins on 27 October. FamilyMart’s FamiPay app will also support a stamp campaign running from 20 October to 9 November, with prizes including PEANUTS ROOTOTE bags, Snoopy blankets and FamilyMart points.12

The collaboration extends beyond food. A Snoopy shopping-bag-style eco bag and a character keyring launch on 23 October at selected shops, while other character accessories include a Woodstock potato bag, a milkshake pouch and a hot-dog plush charm. Availability varies by item, region and store, and the retailer warns that limited products and giveaway stock may run out.1

The campaign also includes a limited event in the mobile puzzle game Snoopy Drops, with original designs and wallpapers available from 20 October to 30 October. FamilyMart’s release identifies Capcom as the game’s developer and operator, adding a small gaming tie-in to what is primarily a food and merchandise promotion.1

Our opinion

FamilyMart’s third PEANUTS collaboration is less a single product launch than a full seasonal retail takeover. The strongest part is the range: shoppers can find the characters on everyday drinks and snacks, collectable goods and a limited mobile-game event rather than being funnelled towards one expensive item. The trade-off is the usual one for Japanese convenience-store campaigns — regional availability and limited stock mean the most desirable products may disappear quickly.

For Snoopy fans in Japan, the campaign is substantial enough to be worth checking from 20 October, particularly if the practical pouches, plates or drinks appeal more than collector merchandise. Everyone else will have to admire the official product line-up from a distance unless FamilyMart or its partners expand availability beyond the Japanese market.
