Tanuki to Kitsune anime sets 4 October premiere

Frontier Works has unveiled the first promotional video and voice cast for the television anime based on Atamoto Tanuki to Kitsune manga, set to premiere in Japan on 4 October.

The story follows a slightly absent minded raccoon dog and a mischievous fox who live together on a mountain. Tommy Hino directs at Akatsuki Media Studio and Rika Kihara writes the scripts.

The anime airs in TV Tokyo Animori and affiliates on Sundays at 7:00 a.m. JST, marking the franchises 10th anniversary. No overseas streaming or English release was confirmed.
