The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World TV Anime's 2nd Season Reveals Main Trailer, More Cast Members

The website for the second season of the television anime based on Nana Mikoshiba 's The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World ( Hyōken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu - Sekai Saikyō no Majutsushi de Aru Shōnen wa, Majutsu Gakuin ga Nyūgaku Suru ) light novel series started streaming the anime's main promotional video, and revealed additional returning and new cast members on Thursday. The video previews the opening theme song "Diamond Dust" by Sizuk .

The additional new and returning cast members are (image above from left to right, some character name romanizations are not confirmed):

Miyu Kubota will voice Elisa Griffith. Kubota is replacing Nana Harumura , who retired from voice acting in January due to health reasons. Other new cast members include Hana Hishikawa as Olivia Arnold.

Our opinion

The announcement gives this project a clear reason to stay on the radar, but trailers and release windows are only promises. The interesting part is now whether the finished game or anime turns its distinctive idea into something that holds up beyond the headline.
