Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket launches Utomare Kyūjo wa Ryūō ni Aisareru this week

Magazine Pocket is adding a new romance manga to its line-up this week, with Utomare Kyūjo wa Ryūō ni Aisareru launching on 4 September 2026.

The Japanese title is 『疎まれ宮女は龍王に愛される』. The original story comes from 柏てん (Ten Kashiwa), while 熨斗上カイ (Kai Noshigami) is handling the manga.

A palace maid and a Dragon King

Magazine Pocket’s announcement describes the series as a romance involving a sacrificial palace maid and a cold Dragon King.
