Yumeneconnect manga gets a TV anime and teaser PV
Kou Sawada's Yumeneconnect manga is getting a TV anime from Studio Massket, with Shochiku unveiling the first teaser PV and main staff.
Kou Sawada's Yumeneconnect manga is being adapted into a television anime, with Shochiku opening an official website and releasing a teaser visual and promotional video.12
The announcement introduces the series as a science-fiction comedy about Yūhi Takamiya, a lonely high-school student who meets Nano, an alien from Pokotsun who arrives on Earth with bizarre products and a very direct sales pitch.1 The manga launched in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2024.2
Shochiku confirms the main staff
The anime is being produced by Studio Massket. Sōta Yokote is directing, Gigaemon Ichikawa is handling series composition and scripts, and Yoshihiro Watanabe is designing the characters. Yūsuke Kobayashi voices Yūhi, while Yū Sasahara plays Nano.12
Shochiku's official site also links the teaser PV, which puts Nano and Yūhi at the centre of the adaptation's colourful, deliberately provocative comedy. The announcement does not yet give a broadcast date, so there is no confirmed release window to report.1
Our opinion
Yumeneconnect is arriving with an unusually clear idea of what it wants to be: a loud, pop-coloured science-fiction comedy that treats its own outrageous premise as the selling point. That makes the teaser PV more useful than a routine adaptation announcement because it immediately shows the tone, visual energy and central character dynamic.
The real question is whether Studio Massket can turn that shock-first pitch into a series with enough character and comic rhythm to sustain a full television run. For now, the confirmed staff, official teaser and Shochiku backing make this one worth watching, even if the missing broadcast date means the announcement is still an early look rather than a near-term viewing guide.
