Appraisal Skill Season 3 reveals Fujimiya Family Arc cast
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat Season 3 introduces the Fujimiya Family Arc, three new cast members and a new promotional video.
As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I'll Use My Appraisal Skill Season 3 has revealed its third promotional video, a new key visual and three new cast members ahead of the Fujimiya Family Arc. The new story begins with episode 6 of the third season, which is scheduled to air in Japan on November 1.1
The newly announced cast includes Toshiya Miyata as Rikuya Fujimiya, Mariya Ise as Maika Fujimiya and Takaki Otomari as Takao Fujimiya. The three characters are siblings from the Fujimiya family, and the official visual places Rikuya opposite the series' protagonist, Ars Louvent, with the family sword Ryuzetsuto between them.1
The new promotional video introduces the Fujimiya siblings and teases the conflict that will sit at the centre of the next arc. The official announcement frames the story around Ars meeting people with their own abilities and responsibilities, while asking what kind of drama will emerge when the two leaders come together.1
The third season has also added a production change behind the scenes. Takao Kato is returning as director, while Daisuke Ohigashi is taking over series composition after previously writing scripts for earlier seasons. Yuko Yahiro remains character designer and Kujira Yumemi returns to compose the music.
Natsumi Fujiwara returns as Ars, alongside Taito Ban as Ritsu, Narumi Kaho as Charlotte, Miho Okasaki as Rosell, Kana Hanazawa as Lycia, Hitomi Nabatame as Mireille and Haruka Tomatsu as Fahm. Sumire Morohoshi and Hinata Tadokoro were previously announced as additional new cast members for the season.2
The third season premiered in Japan on September 27, with later broadcasts on BS NTV and AT-X. Crunchyroll is streaming the season as it airs, while the series is also available through Japanese services including U-NEXT, d Anime Store and Anime Hodai.2
The anime adapts Miraijin A's light novel series, which follows Ars Louvent after he is reborn as a young aristocrat in another world. His Appraisal skill lets him identify the abilities of other people, allowing him to recruit talented allies as he tries to improve his country's fortunes. Kodansha USA publishes the manga and light novel series in English under the Vertical imprint.2
Our opinion
The Fujimiya Family Arc looks like a sensible mid-season escalation rather than a reset. The official visual's mirrored arrangement gives Ars and Rikuya an immediate visual contrast, while the sword between them suggests that the story's conflict will be about more than simply adding another set of characters to Ars's growing circle.
The production changes are worth watching as well. Returning staff should give the season some continuity, but a new series-composition lead can still alter how the adaptation balances political manoeuvring, character recruitment and action. With the new arc arriving so soon after the season's launch, the next few episodes should show whether the third season can turn its expanded cast into a meaningful change of direction rather than another name on Ars's list.
