Attack on Titan musical announces Singapore world-tour dates
Attack on Titan: The Musical will begin its first world tour in Singapore, with performances scheduled for April and May 2027.
Attack on Titan: The Musical is going on its first world tour, with the opening overseas engagement set for Singapore in April and May 2027. The official production site says the run will take place at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, from 15 April to 2 May.12
Singapore opens the tour
The Singapore dates mark the musical’s Southeast Asian debut. The production previously ran in Japan and made its first international appearance in New York in October 2024, before expanding into the newly announced world-tour format.12
The official announcement says further cities and dates will be revealed later. The production combines live music, dance, action and stage technology to recreate the world of Hajime Isayama’s manga, rather than presenting a conventional straight play.1
The announcement also includes messages from Isayama and director Go Ueki. Isayama said the performers’ action sequences and singing give the adaptation a distinct identity from the original manga and anime.1
Our opinion
A Singapore opening gives this touring production a clear international foothold instead of treating the world-tour label as vague marketing. The mix of practical stagecraft and live performance also makes this one of the more interesting ways to revisit Attack on Titan without simply replaying its animated battles.
