Anime Corner reports that the “FINAL PV” features footage from Episodes 11 and 12. The series is streaming on Crunchyroll, with the update arriving as the adaptation approaches its concluding stretch.

According to Anime Corner, the new promotional video previews the final two episodes of BLACK TORCH. The report also notes that the anime adaptation was first announced in March, making its return particularly surprising after the manga ended in 2018.
The original manga ran in Shueisha’s Jump Square from February 2017 to April 2018 before moving to the digital Shonen Jump+ platform. It concluded in July 2018 with 19 chapters collected into five volumes, and VIZ Media holds the English licence.
The story follows Jirou Azuma, a high-schooler descended from ninjas who can communicate with animals. After encountering an injured cat called Ragou, Jirou learns that the animal is actually the legendary Black Star of Doom and joins the Bureau of Espionage to fight mononoke targeting Ragou’s power.
Why you should care
A “final episodes” trailer is not reinventing the wheel, but it is exactly the sort of sign viewers want when a show is approaching its finish line: a clear look at what the last instalments are actually bringing to the screen rather than another vague key visual and a prayer.
BLACK TORCH also has a tidy hook for anyone who likes shonen action with a stranger creature at its centre. This is a sensible final push for an anime that has already had a more dramatic journey to the screen than most. If you started BLACK TORCH, the new trailer makes the last two episodes worth seeing through; if you have not, wait for the season to finish and then decide whether the ninja-and-doom-cat formula deserves a binge.
