Dragon Ball Z Golden Frieza statue opens pre-orders at $990
Tsume’s 1/4-scale Golden Frieza statue recreates the villain’s Resurrection ‘F’ form, with pre-orders open ahead of a Q4 2027 delivery window.
Tsume has opened pre-orders for a 1/4-scale Golden Frieza statue based on Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', with the high-end figure priced at €665.83 before tax. The official product page lists an estimated delivery window beginning in the fourth quarter of 2027.1
The statue recreates Golden Frieza charging an energy orb, with the character posed above a rocky base surrounded by translucent flames. Tsume says the piece is made from polyresin and measures 34cm wide, 41cm deep and 49cm high. It is part of the company's Movies Collection, a range built around licensed Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super film designs.1
The release is not a new transformation or a new anime appearance: it is a premium reinterpretation of Frieza's Golden form from the 2015 film. The official imagery shows the gold-and-purple colour scheme, the energy attack and the flaming base, while the product page credits Bird Studio, Shueisha and Toei Animation.1
CBR reports that the statue is priced at US$990 and that pre-orders are open, with the final price varying by region, taxes and retailer. Buyers should therefore treat the manufacturer’s own page as the definitive source for current availability and delivery information rather than relying on converted listings.12
Our opinion
This is unmistakably a collector’s piece rather than an everyday figure. The scale, sculpted flames and energy-orb pose give it the visual presence fans expect from a four-figure purchase, but the 2027 delivery window and regional pricing make it a commitment, not an impulse buy. Tsume’s official photos do the selling here; the sensible move is to check the final landed cost and payment terms before placing a pre-order.
