A bathhouse collaboration with a Gintama twist

Gintama (銀魂) is teaming up with Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA for a limited-time collaboration running from 22 October to 10 November 2026. The event, called Gokurakuyu Kabukicho, will take place at 12 venues across the group. 1

The official announcement promises newly drawn character art, themed food and drinks, decorated spaces and four character-inspired baths. 1

What fans can expect

The merchandise line includes towels, acrylic stands, trading badges and locker-key-style keyrings using new Gintama illustrations. The menu includes eight drinks and seven food or dessert items, with options themed around characters including Gintoki, Hijikata, Kagura, Okita, Katsura and Kamui. 12

Visitors can also encounter panels, banners and tapestries around the venues, while an hourly recording featuring Gintoki voice actor Tomokazu Sugita is scheduled as part of the in-house announcements. 1

The four rotating baths take inspiration from Gintoki, Hijikata, Katsura and Kamui. There is also a social campaign offering a limited postcard to visitors who follow the official account and post about the event using the specified hashtag. 1

Dates and locations

The collaboration runs from 22 October to 10 November 2026 at 12 Gokurakuyu and RAKU SPA locations. Fans should check the official event page for the participating venues, timings and any changes before travelling. 1

Our opinion

This is exactly the sort of themed collaboration that understands why Gintama works: it turns the cast's personalities into a full day out rather than stopping at a few pieces of merchandise. The character-inspired food and rotating baths sound playful, while the new artwork gives collectors a reason to pay attention even if they are not travelling for the spa experience alone.

It is a Japan-only event, but the official artwork and character goods should make it worth watching for fans who collect Gintama collaborations. 1
