STRICT-G and jewellery brand THE KISS have announced two new necklaces inspired by Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack and Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ. The collaboration is built around Amuro Ray and Judau Ashta, with both designs borrowing visual details from their respective pilot suits. 1

The two necklaces

The Amuro Ray necklace is a plate-style pendant based on Amuro's look in Char's Counterattack. It includes two image-colour stones, Amuro's personal emblem and his name engraved on the reverse, with an original box included. The Judau Ashta necklace uses a bar-style pendant inspired by the pilot suit and belt from Gundam ZZ. It also includes an image-colour stone, a series logo and Judau's name engraving. 1

Both necklaces cost ¥15,400 including tax. The Amuro pendant measures approximately 13.0 × 6.4 × 1.2mm, while the Judau pendant measures approximately 17.5 × 3.7 × 1.7mm. Each has a 50cm chain with a sliding adjuster. The pendants are made from 925 sterling silver, while the chains use SUS316L surgical stainless steel with rhodium plating. 2

Pre-orders and availability

Pre-orders opened through the STRICT-G Online Store on Premium Bandai on 27 October at 1pm Japan time. THE KISS's FANFUNMARKET is due to begin taking orders on 2 November. The announced shipping window is February 2027, although orders may close early if the allocated quantity is reached. 13

The official product listings should be treated as the final word on availability, delivery and any regional purchasing restrictions. At the time of the announcement, the collection was presented as an online-focused release rather than a general retail launch. 1

Our opinion

This is a neatly targeted collaboration rather than a generic logo exercise. The two pendants are distinct enough to reflect their characters, while the restrained jewellery format makes the collection more wearable than a conventional piece of character merchandise. The practical catch is availability: the Japanese pre-order timetable and possible quantity limit mean interested buyers should check the official listings rather than assume the pieces will remain open for orders.

The campaign gives each necklace its own visual identity and keeps the announcement focused on the products themselves. That makes the Amuro and Judau designs the story here, not merely an extension of the wider Gundam fashion catalogue.
