Haikyu!! ALL Challengers mobile game streams new promotional video

The official website for Haikyu!! ALL Challengers has published a new promotional video and main visual for TOHO Games and G2Studios’ training-simulation smartphone game. A training game built around team development

Rather than presenting a conventional match-three or card-battler format, Haikyu!! ALL Challengers asks players to decide how their athletes train. You choose which statistics to improve, plan practice menus and then assemble the players you have developed into a team. The new visual places familiar Karasuno players on an indoor volleyball court, while the promotional material gives the project another public-facing push ahead of launch. Our opinion

A training simulation is a sensible direction for Haikyu!!: the series has always made preparation, roles and incremental improvement feel as important as the final spike. The real test will be whether the game gives those decisions enough weight to feel like coaching rather than menu maintenance. For now, the new video and visual establish the concept clearly, but the missing release date means the most meaningful announcement is still to come.
