Kashita Maryoku wa Revo Barai Episode 3 heads into the labyrinth
Episode 3 sends Rent into Melba’s Great Labyrinth as Rinka faces trouble with her own party.
Kashita Maryoku wa [Revo Barai] de Kyosei Choshu returns to the labyrinth in its third episode, with Rent finally putting his unusual magic-storage ability to practical use. The episode is scheduled to air in Japan on October 17, according to the latest synopsis and preview-stills announcement.1
Rent takes his first steps as a solo adventurer
After being expelled from his old party, Rent has been trying to turn the ability that made him a burden into a strength. Episode 3, titled “Operation”, sees him take the magic power gathered through Forced Collection into Melba’s Great Labyrinth. The official anime site identifies the series in Japanese as 貸した魔力は【リボ払い】で強制徴収, while its English-facing materials use the romaji title used here.2
Rent’s next challenge is more practical than grandiose: he begins learning dagger techniques and fire magic, then faces monsters as an adventurer fighting alone. That makes the episode a useful checkpoint for the series’ central idea. His power is not simply a bigger number on a character sheet; it changes how he has to approach survival, training and trust after being rejected by his former companions.1
Rinka’s party troubles add a second thread
The preview material also follows Rinka, a swordswoman whose companions treat her coldly on the labyrinth’s third floor. Her predicament gives the episode a parallel to Rent’s own isolation, without requiring the story to repeat his exact circumstances. The synopsis says Rent’s progress and Rinka’s situation develop at the same time, setting up the possibility that their paths will intersect as the labyrinth adventure continues.1
The series is based on the light novel and manga property created by Masakichi and Shingo Iijima, with Flex Comix among the credited rights holders. The official site provides the production’s primary character and promotional material, while Anibu’s report supplies the Episode 3 synopsis and broadcast timing.12
Our opinion
This is a sensible episode to spotlight because it appears to move the anime from setup into consequence. Rent has spent the opening stretch discovering what Forced Collection means; putting him against monsters, new techniques and a real dungeon gives that premise something concrete to test. Rinka’s subplot should also help keep the story from becoming a solitary power-up tour, provided the two threads earn their connection rather than rushing towards it.
There is no need to oversell the episode as a major turning point yet. For now, the clearest reason to watch is straightforward: Episode 3 promises the first proper demonstration of how Rent functions outside his old party, while Rinka’s treatment hints at another character whose circumstances may challenge the series’ ideas about usefulness and belonging. Episode 3 airs in Japan on October 17; regional streaming details should be checked with the relevant services and official channels.12
