Love Live! Hasunosora anime reveals 106th-class cast for January 2027
The second chapter of Love Live! Hasunosora will introduce three new characters when its TV anime begins in Japan in January 2027.
The Love Live! Hasunosora Girls' High School Idol Club anime has revealed the three members joining its 106th class, ahead of the second chapter's television debut in Japan in January 2027. The announcement came through the official project livestream on 18 October. The new characters are Maika Nishikami, voiced by Julia Hoshimiya; Aoi Reizawa, voiced by Hana Asahi; and Mion Shinowa, voiced by Kanae Yuasa.
What has been announced
The project currently places the second chapter's TV anime in January 2027. A specific premiere date, Japanese broadcaster, streaming service and international distribution plans have not been confirmed in the sources checked, so the January window should not be treated as a worldwide release date. The cast reveal expands a school-idol ensemble that already includes Ginko Momose, Kosuzu Kachimachi, Hime Anyoji, Ceras Y. Lilienfeld and Izumi Katsuragi. The official project confirms that more content is being published through its video channel.
What to expect next
The immediate focus should be more character information and music announcements before the January broadcast. The project has not supplied a full episode count or international release schedule, so viewers outside Japan should wait for regional statements from licensed distributors rather than assume simultaneous availability. The announcement gives the second chapter a concrete identity while leaving room for future details about the new characters' relationships, songs and roles.
Our opinion
This is a useful cast reveal because it gives the next Hasunosora chapter a concrete identity before its broadcast window arrives. Three new characters suggest a meaningful expansion without pretending every detail is known. The January 2027 start is official, but the missing date and international platform mean the most valuable follow-up will be practical release information. For now, the new names and voices are a solid reason for existing Love Live! viewers to keep the project on their radar.
