Miffy and Boris team up with Maison de FLEUR for six new items
Maison de FLEUR will launch six Miffy and Boris bags, pouches and charms in Japan on 3 November, with online pre-orders opening the night before.
Miffy and Boris are returning to Maison de FLEUR for a six-item collaboration, giving fans a small but unusually coherent collection of bags, pouches and charms rather than another single character trinket. The range launches in Japan on 3 November, while STRIPE CLUB and ZOZOTOWN begin online sales at 8pm on 2 November. 1
The collection brings together Dick Bruna’s Miffy and her friend Boris with Maison de FLEUR’s gift-led fashion style. The campaign image shows the characters represented across pink frilled tote bags, face-shaped pouches and matching charms, with floral details for Miffy and mushroom motifs for Boris. Stripe International says this is the pair’s first Maison de FLEUR collaboration since 2023. 1
What is in the collection
The six products split evenly across two tote bags, two handled pouches and two acetate charms. The Miffy and Boris frill square totes each cost ¥7,700, and carry embroidered character artwork alongside the collection’s flower and mushroom accents. The face-shaped handled pouches cost ¥4,950 apiece, with internal dividers intended to make them useful for separating smaller items. 12
The two acetate charms cost ¥3,700 each. They use character-shaped resin plates, with a flower-themed knitted decoration for Miffy and a mushroom-themed one for Boris. That gives the range a clearer visual identity than a generic logo tie-in: each character has a small set of motifs that carries across the bags and accessories.
Where and when to buy
The collection will be sold through Maison de FLEUR shops in Japan, the brand’s STRIPE CLUB web store and ZOZOTOWN. Stripe International also lists an earth music&ecology shop in Okayama as a participating location. Online early sales begin at 8pm on 2 November, ahead of the wider 3 November launch. 1
Our opinion
This is a straightforward character-fashion launch, but the range works because it gives Miffy and Boris distinct visual roles instead of treating them as interchangeable mascots. The totes are the obvious headline pieces, while the face pouches and charms make the collaboration easier to recognise in smaller accessories. International fans should note that the announcement confirms Japanese retail and web availability only; it does not promise a global release.
The practical takeaway is simple: if you want one of the bags, the online early sale is the date to watch. The collection is limited to six products, and previous Maison de FLEUR Miffy launches have reportedly sold quickly, so checking STRIPE CLUB before the general launch makes more sense than waiting for a later restock announcement.
