Sirotan Episode 5 teases Halloween costumes
Sirotan’s fifth episode brings Halloween costumes, a mysterious figure and one big unanswered question: what will the seal wear?
The Sirotan TV anime is lining up a Halloween story for Episode 5, titled “Delicious Halloween”, with new preview details showing Rakko Inu and Shell preparing costumes for the celebration.1
The episode is scheduled to air and stream on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The preview puts Rakko Inu and Shell in capes, hats, bat ears and wings as they get ready for a party with Sirotan. The central tease is deliberately held back: Sirotan is known for transforming, but the character’s own Halloween costume has not been revealed yet.1
What we know
The episode’s synopsis begins on Halloween night, with Rakko Inu and Shell enjoying their chosen costumes while waiting for Sirotan. A mysterious figure then appears from the darkness, leaving the episode with a small mystery to resolve.1 The show’s official website is the primary home for programme information, while the official YouTube channel is listed as a destination for updates and streaming-related material.23
The wider Sirotan anime follows the white seal and friends including Rakko Inu, Shell and Ramune in short, gentle adventures. Its “Fluffy as ever” theme focuses on warmth and encouragement rather than high-stakes drama, which makes a Halloween mystery involving costumes and a shadowy arrival a fittingly playful change of mood.1
When to watch
The episode is listed for TV Asahi at 4:29 p.m. on Saturday, October 31. Streaming starts sequentially from 4:30 p.m., although availability varies between services and schedules can change.1 The source lists the official Sirotan YouTube channel, TVer, Tele-Asa Douga, ABEMA, TELASA, Amazon Prime Video and several regional anime services among the places to follow the series.1
Our opinion
This is a small preview rather than a major plot announcement, but it understands exactly why Sirotan works. The costumes give the supporting characters a visual hook, while keeping Sirotan’s own outfit secret creates just enough anticipation for a cosy seasonal episode. The best choice here is probably not to overcomplicate the mystery: a gentle Halloween surprise suits the series far better than a dramatic scare.
For viewers looking for something soft and seasonal, Episode 5 looks like a straightforward excuse to spend half an hour with the show’s fluffy cast. The official channels remain the safest place to check the final broadcast and streaming details before Saturday.
