Chiikawa Park Store will open at Osaka’s LUCUA SOUTH on 24 November with Tokyo attraction merchandise, photo spots and limited opening bonuses.

Chiikawa Park Store will open in Osaka’s LUCUA SOUTH on 24 November, bringing merchandise from the Tokyo attraction to a new shop beside Osaka Station. The store will occupy the 11th floor of LUCUA SOUTH and will be free to enter, although the wider LUCUA Characters World area will initially use advance lotteries or first-come, first-served numbered tickets. 12

The store is built around Chiikawa (ちいかわ), Nagano’s popular manga and character franchise. Official concept artwork shows a character-filled interior with display areas and photo spots, making the venue more than a standard merchandise counter. The campaign describes it as a place where visitors can enjoy the series’ atmosphere while browsing products from Chiikawa Park in Tokyo. 1

What will be sold

The opening range includes mini mascot keyrings in 10 varieties for ¥1,430 each, a group sweatshirt for ¥6,380, a Chiikawa soap dispenser for ¥2,000 and mini hand towels for ¥1,100. Character popcorn buckets featuring Chiikawa, Hachiware and Usagi will cost ¥4,180 each, while a set of eight pedestal figures will be available for ¥880 individually or ¥7,040 for a box. Prices include tax. 12

The pedestal figures are due to launch on 6 November, ahead of the shop’s grand opening. Some products may be subject to purchase limits, so visitors should check the official announcements before travelling rather than assuming the full range will be available without restrictions. 1

Opening bonuses and access

Customers will receive one hologram sticker per transaction while supplies last. Spending at least ¥3,300 also qualifies shoppers for one ticket-style multi-clear file, again while stocks last. The official announcement warns that the bonuses may run out and that item names or the bonus range could change. 1

Chiikawa Park Store will be open from 10am to 8pm at LUCUA SOUTH, 11F, 3-1-1 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka. The building is directly connected to JR Osaka Station. Entry to the store itself is free, but access to floors 10 through 13 of LUCUA Characters World will initially require an advance lottery place or a numbered ticket. 1

Our opinion

This looks like a useful regional expansion rather than a token pop-up. Bringing the Tokyo attraction’s merchandise to Osaka gives fans a clearer reason to visit LUCUA SOUTH, while the photo-ready interior should make the store feel like an extension of Chiikawa’s world instead of a row of shelves. The ticketing caveat matters, though: anyone planning a trip should verify the latest access rules and stock information before setting off.

The shop opens on 24 November, with its first bonuses limited by availability.
