Detective Precure Cure Eclair gets new COSPA goods
COSPA’s new Cure Eclair range includes a T-shirt, cushion cover, acrylic stand and pass case, with reservations open until 15 November.
Detective Precure! (『名探偵プリキュア!』) character Cure Eclair is getting a new line of COSPA merchandise, with a T-shirt, cushion cover, acrylic stand and pass case now available for reservation. The range uses newly drawn artwork of the character and is scheduled for early sales at selected shops from December 2026.12
The T-shirt costs ¥3,300 and comes in slate or white in sizes S through XL. COSPA says it uses a 5.6-ounce fabric designed to balance durability, breathability and moisture handling, with a tubular construction intended to reduce twisting after washing. The Cure Eclair artwork is printed across the front, making it the most straightforward piece in the range for fans who want a wearable item rather than a display collectible.1
A double-sided cushion cover is also priced at ¥3,300. It uses bust-up and full-body Cure Eclair illustrations on cotton fabric, with a zip opening so the cover can be removed for washing. COSPA says it is compatible with the company’s own cushion bodies, although the listing is for the cover rather than a complete cushion insert.12
Four products in the first wave
The acrylic stand costs ¥1,650 and measures up to approximately 14cm by 10cm for the character section, with a base of up to 5cm by 5cm. It is designed to sit on a desk or shelf, but the product listing also presents it as a portable item for fans who want to take the character with them.1
The pass case is another ¥1,650 item. It uses synthetic leather, a full-colour print and a detachable hook, while its card window is shaped to help hide personal information. COSPA also notes that compatibility with the special window depends on the type of card being used. The pass case can be paired with a separately sold COSPA reel key-holder series.1
The standard reservation period runs until 15 November 2026, although COSPA says reservations can close earlier if the planned stock is exhausted. Early sales are planned for December at COSPA’s official shops, Gee Store, TV Asahi Shop Tokyo Station and TV Asahi Shop Roppongi, with other events or shops potentially added later.12
The products are tied to Cure Eclair’s “Awaken the fragrance of inner truth” transformation design. The character is part of Detective Precure!, the 23rd entry in the wider Pretty Cure franchise. The series follows Anna Akechi, who encounters the fairy Pochitan and is pulled back to 1999 before deciding to become a detective and take on the Phantom Gang’s cases.2
Release details and caveats
COSPA lists the photographs as sample images and warns that product materials, specifications and release dates may change without notice. The December early-sale stock will also be limited, so fans should treat the named month as a planned window rather than a guarantee that every shop will receive every item on the same day.1
The line is a conventional character-goods launch, but it covers several different kinds of fan purchase. The T-shirt makes the new Cure Eclair illustration visible in everyday use, while the cushion cover and acrylic stand are aimed more squarely at home display. The pass case adds a practical option without pretending that every item serves the same purpose.12
Our opinion
The strongest part of the range is that it gives the same new artwork several sensible formats instead of limiting it to one expensive collector piece. The T-shirt is the clearest headline product, but the acrylic stand is the easier entry point at ¥1,650 and the pass case is the most useful for daily carry. Anyone ordering should keep an eye on the 15 November deadline and the distinction between COSPA’s December early sales and the later general delivery window.
