JoJo's Bizarre Adventure pumps launch in MAYLA collaboration
MAYLA's new pumps draw on Josuke, Rohan and Kira from Diamond Is Unbreakable, with reservations open until 16 November.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable (ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 ダイヤモンドは砕けない) has been turned into a very specific bit of fashion: a new MAYLA collaboration built around three pairs of character-inspired pumps. The collection is now taking reservations, with designs based on Josuke Higashikata, Rohan Kishibe and Yoshikage Kira.
The announcement comes from Anime! Anime!, which reports that the shoes are part of MAYLA's "Iconic Shoes Objet Pumps" line. The collaboration takes visual cues from the characters' clothing, colours and Stands rather than simply printing the series logo across a generic product. That makes the range feel closer to wearable character design than ordinary tie-in merchandise. 1
Three designs, three character references
The Josuke-inspired version uses details associated with his school uniform and Crazy Diamond, while the Rohan design draws on the manga artist's pen nib, trademark headband and Heaven's Door. Kira's version takes its cues from his suit and tie, alongside Killer Queen. The story describes three colourways, each intended to signal its character without requiring a full costume.
The shoes are also built around a deliberately theatrical silhouette. The pictured pair uses a large bow, a sculpted heel and metallic detailing, with the product's inner sole carrying a Morioh Town-inspired collaboration mark. The range is offered in ribboned and non-ribboned forms, with the reported product here being the ribbon version.
Reservation details
Each pair costs ¥33,000 including tax, with shipping listed separately at ¥600, subject to the seller's conditions. Reservations opened on 16 October 2026 and are scheduled to close at 5pm JST on 16 November. The shoes are made to order, so this is a reservation release rather than a product that buyers should assume is ready to ship immediately.
MAYLA's collaboration is aimed squarely at fans who want a quieter reference to Diamond Is Unbreakable than a T-shirt or figure provides. The designs use recognisable colours and motifs, but keep the main product language focused on fashion. That is a sensible fit for a series whose character styling has always been as memorable as its supernatural battles.
Our opinion
This is an unusually coherent anime fashion collaboration. The pumps do not merely borrow the JoJo name: the character references are visible in the colour choices, hardware and detailing, while the bow-and-heel silhouette gives the collection a distinct identity of its own. The ¥33,000 price places it firmly in specialist collector territory, but the product at least appears to be designed as footwear first and merchandise second. Fans should check the product page's shipping and reservation conditions before ordering, particularly because the collection is sold by reservation and the deadline is fixed. 1
