Katekyo Hitman Reborn ear accessories launch from MAYLA

MAYLA is launching five Katekyo Hitman Reborn-inspired ear accessories, with reservations opening on October 19.

MAYLA Katekyo Hitman Reborn ear accessory worn by a model

Katekyo Hitman Reborn (家庭教師ヒットマンREBORN!) is getting a new fashion collaboration from MAYLA, with five ear-accessory designs inspired by Reborn, Tsunayoshi Sawada, Hayato Gokudera, Takeshi Yamamoto, Kyoya Hibari and Mukuro Rokudo. The collection is now listed on MAYLA’s official shop, with reservations scheduled to open on October 19.

The MAYLA collection

The Iconic Ear Object range translates details from the series into jewellery-style pieces. The Reborn and Tsunayoshi model uses a pacifier motif, while the Gokudera design takes inspiration from his necklace. Yamamoto’s version includes decoration based on the three small blades carried by his rain companion, and Hibari’s piece borrows the shape of a flying school uniform. The Mukuro model hides the number 69, a visual joke tied to his name.

Each design is priced at ¥20,900 including tax, with shipping listed separately. MAYLA’s product page presents the items as a reservation collection and lists multiple delivery batches, so buyers should check the selected character and delivery window before ordering. The official page also identifies the pieces as a TV-anime collaboration rather than generic character merchandise.

A 20th-anniversary tie-in

The collaboration arrives as Katekyo Hitman Reborn approaches its 20th anniversary year. The manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2004 to 2012, while the television anime follows Tsunayoshi Sawada as he trains under the baby hitman Reborn to become the next boss of the Vongola family. MAYLA’s designs focus on recognisable costume and character details rather than reproducing a single key visual.

AnimeAnime’s report identifies five colour-coded models and gives the reservation deadline as November 19 at 5pm. MAYLA’s own shop page is the place to confirm current stock, delivery timing and the final price, since those details can change between announcement and order fulfilment.

Our opinion

This is a particularly literal kind of anime fashion collaboration, but that is exactly why the range works. The pieces are not just branded with a logo: each one has a small character-specific cue, from the pacifier and chain to Hibari’s silhouette and Mukuro’s hidden number. That gives fans something to recognise without turning the jewellery into a costume prop.

The catch is the price. At ¥20,900 per design, these are collector accessories rather than impulse buys, and choosing between five character references may be harder than choosing whether to buy one at all. Still, MAYLA has made the collaboration feel designed rather than merely printed, which should appeal to fans who want a quieter way to carry Katekyo Hitman Reborn into an everyday outfit.
