Lycoris Recoil pop-up shop tours Japan with new merchandise
The official Cafe LycoReco 2026 pop-up shop begins in Tokyo before touring Osaka, Kokura, Nagoya and Sendai.
The Lycoris Recoil (リコリス・リコイル) characters Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue are heading back to the counter — and this time, the Cafe LycoReco pop-up shop is taking its Hawaii-themed merchandise on tour across Japan.12
The Cafe LycoReco Outpost 2026 pop-up began at Atre Akihabara on 16 October and will run there until 29 October. The event then moves to Geo Store Osaka and Kokura from 21 to 29 November, followed by Geo Store Nagoya and Sendai from 5 to 13 December. Entry to the Akihabara venue is free, although some dates may use timed-entry tickets.1
The event is organised around new official COSPA goods using freshly drawn artwork of Chisato and Takina relaxing in matching Hawaii camouflage outfits. The range includes acrylic stands, keychains, full-graphic T-shirts, pass cases, mugs, plates, a beer glass, bags, jackets and other everyday accessories.12
The event's headline visual puts the two leads front and centre in colourful floral outfits, giving the pop-up a distinctly sunny change of pace from the series' usual secret-agent premise. That contrast is part of the appeal: this is merchandise and fan-event news rather than a new anime announcement, but it gives viewers a fresh look at the pair outside their usual action setting.1
Shoppers who spend at least ¥2,000 on related goods at each venue can also receive one random bromide from a six-design set while supplies last. The Akihabara shop is being held on the first and second floors of Atre Akihabara 1, with the larger tour dates following at Geo Store venues.1
The event builds on the show's established world. Lycoris Recoil follows Chisato, an upbeat agent, and Takina, a more disciplined operative, as members of the secret Direct Attack organisation. The pair's relaxed Cafe LycoReco setting has long provided the series with its softer, everyday counterpoint, which makes the pop-up's café branding a natural fit.1
Our opinion
This is a strong piece of fan-service because the event has a clear visual identity rather than simply placing the characters on generic stationery. The touring schedule also gives fans outside Tokyo a realistic chance to see the new goods in person. International readers should note that the dates and venues listed by COSPA are all in Japan, while the event page also advertises an online sales window from 26 November to 14 December.12
For fans planning a visit, the practical details matter more than the sheer size of the merchandise list: check the venue's latest entry guidance, arrive early for popular items and remember that the ¥2,000 purchase bonus is random. The key takeaway is simple — Cafe LycoReco's 2026 pop-up is an official, multi-city merchandise tour with Chisato and Takina at its centre, not a new season reveal.
