Sanrio Characters collaboration brings 20 colourful fashion designs
Sanrio Characters, wiggle wiggle and CIAOPANIC TYPY are launching a 20-piece Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and Keroppi collection in November.
Sanrio Characters, wiggle wiggle and CIAOPANIC TYPY are joining forces for a colourful 20-piece collection featuring Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and Keroppi. The collaboration goes on sale from 7 November 2026, with advance reservations and limited items appearing ahead of the main release. 1
What is in the collection
The triple collaboration brings together Sanrio Characters, Korean lifestyle brand wiggle wiggle and Japanese clothing label CIAOPANIC TYPY. The range uses wiggle wiggle’s “Smile We Love” identity alongside bright Sanrio character designs, with Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and Keroppi at the centre of the collection. 1
The 20 designs cover clothing and accessories for children and adults. Alongside apparel, the line-up includes character-themed goods and special items reserved for the CIAOPANIC TYPY PALCLOSET shop, the Ikebukuro store and the Kobe umie store. 1
The campaign also includes mystery products: a secret A4 tote bag and secret mirror charms, with the contents only revealed after purchase. That gives the collaboration a familiar capsule-collecting hook while keeping the main range focused on wearable pieces and everyday accessories. 1
Release details
PALCLOSET advance reservations opened on 24 October and run until 1 November at 11pm, according to the source report. The main collection launches at 10am on 7 November. Customers will be able to look for it at CIAOPANIC TYPY shops and through the official PALCLOSET, ZOZOTOWN, Rakuten Fashion and Amazon storefronts. 1
A TYPY EXHIBITION 26Winter preview is also part of the rollout. The Tokyo exhibition ran on 24 and 25 October, while the Osaka event is scheduled for 31 October and 1 November, giving visitors a chance to see the items and place advance orders before the wider release. 1
Our opinion
This collaboration works because its visual identity is unusually clear. Sanrio supplies instantly recognisable characters, while wiggle wiggle’s bright graphics and CIAOPANIC TYPY’s clothing focus give the collection a consistent look rather than turning it into a pile of unrelated logo merchandise. The 20-piece spread should also make the partnership easier to browse: fans can choose between apparel, accessories and the limited shop items without needing to decode an entirely new character concept.
The secret tote and mirror charms are the most obvious collector bait, but the broader appeal is the range of sizes and product types. That makes this feel less like a single novelty drop and more like a proper seasonal fashion campaign. The Japan-focused shop list means international fans may still face a difficult hunt, but the 7 November launch gives collectors a clear date to watch.
