Re:ZERO Season 4 tops the Summer 2026 anime rankings

Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4 has been voted the best anime of Summer 2026 in Anime Corner’s final seasonal rankings.

The series finished first with 13.13 per cent of the final vote, ahead of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3 on 10.84 per cent and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity on 10.08 per cent.

How the ranking was decided

Anime Corner’s final results combine its main Anime of the Season poll with 12 weekly rankings. The final poll accounts for 55 per cent of the result, while weekly performance makes up the remaining 45 per cent. A total of 64,382 people took part across the polls, with invalidated ballots removed before the final results were published.

Re:ZERO joined the weekly rankings in Week 6 and won twice, finishing in the top three in five of its seven appearances. Mushoku Tensei ended the weekly rankings with three consecutive wins, but its second-place finish was not enough to overtake Re:ZERO in the weighted final calculation.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity placed third after winning two weekly rankings and recording Anime Corner’s highest weekly vote percentage, at 25.75 per cent in Week 8.

Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky was the highest-ranked non-sequel in fourth place with 8.90 per cent. Though I Am an Inept Villainess completed the top five.

Our opinion

The result is more interesting than a simple popularity list because the weighted format rewards consistency as well as a strong final vote. Re:ZERO did not need to dominate every week: arriving late and repeatedly finishing near the top was enough to beat Mushoku Tensei’s late surge. Anime Corner’s full results include the remaining Top 75 positions and its category winners.
